Baptized Imagination
Waking up to the hidden music
My eyes have been baptized refined like gold and dunked in holy water washed wild in wonder I once was blind but now I smile I taste colors and feel light and every common thing is set ablaze with glory I hear the whispers on the wind as the earth speaks in myths every tale echoes loss every sunrise is a prophecy of sad things coming untrue and good things running wild

"Sad things coming untrue" - love some Samwise Gamgee in my poetry. This is a brilliant piece, and "I once was blind but now I smile" is a super powerful juxtaposition. The sightless man who smiles sees better than the frowning eagle.
I love the imagery and the lightness flowing from this piece!
