I read the Silmarillion way too early. Some of the tragedy there would be so great to see on screen but I'm afraid of what the industry would do to it.
My fiction TBR for January and February is The Hobbit, LOTR, the Silmarillion, and a few other lesser known stories of Tolkien.
I read these books first in seventh grade but haven't reread them since sophomore year of high school. I thought that I couldn't be more excited to dig into them again, however, these comments may have done just that!

#34 got me tearing up. It breaks my heart every time I remember the ending.
